Astrum. A fortress monastery. A citadel of secrecy.

A high peak surrounded by the Great Sable Walls of Galian. Walls built from a combination of ceramite, plasteel and materials of xenos origin. Further protected by the Astrum’s Glimmerfield, the compound is deemed to be virtually impenetrable.

Astrum is home to many Astropaths too powerful to be called into service during the Great Crusade, too powerful to be destroyed, too powerful to be released into the galaxy.

The Sigillite confined these beings to live out their days behind the Walls of Astrum, with a small contingent of Silent Sisters tend to their needs. The balance has been maintained without intervention for over 800 years.
